testing testing - anyone still checking in on my blog?

Stolen from sassenach. :)

Ask me seven questions. Not just any seven questions though. No, to keep it interesting, use the seven questions as per below - just copy and paste the following, replace the blanks with something you want to know/ask (e.g., 3. Donkeys or sandcastles and why?), anything you want, personal, silly, surreal or deep, comment away and I’ll answer honestly as I can! Then post this on your own blog and see what kind of things people want to ask you!

1. What do you think of _____________?

2. When did you last ____________?

3. __________ or ___________ and why?

4. What did you ______________?

6. How would you ______________?

7. Who would you most like to ________?

  1. 1. What do you think of walruses?

  2. I'm always happy to see an entry of yours pop up in bloglines :)

    3. Dark or milk chocolate and why?

    4. What did you wear today?

    5. What’s your favorite city?

    6. How would you choose to get from here to there?

    7. Who would you most like to see right now?

  3. Tiffany's questions first:
    1. I love walruses. There's a video of a dancing walrus on youtube that ALWAYS makes me happy. And sometimes I see people who look like walruses and that also makes me happy.

    2. I last drank tea a couple weeks ago. Allergies have been really kicking my butt this year and my throat gets raw, so I drink my favorite tea with a teaspoon of honey in it. Salada Echinacea Supplement Honey Lemon Flavored Green Tea (Naturally Decaf). I LOVE IT. (Ooooh - Snapple Iced Raspberry White Tea yesterday - I forgot about that).

    3. Non-smoking cause it's stinky.

    4. It's likely that I laughed at a "your mom" joke or a "that's what she said" joke. Hub and I are throwing those around constantly. We're seriously inappropriate.

    5. Hands-down young raw peas fresh from the garden.

    6. The title of my blog "sunshine walks" comes from the line of a song Nancie Griffith sings called Tecumseh Valley where they describe a woman as "the sunshine walked beside her" and I would love to be remembered that way. I've already told Hub I want that to be my epitaph and I feel it's something I'm constantly trying to live up to.

    7. I think my sister. I miss her. Maine seems very far away. (If I chose anyone famous I'd just be nervous the whole time and I wouldn't enjoy the dinner).

    kc's questions:

    1. I honestly hate summertime. I would, any day, rather be cold than hot. You can always put more clothes on but it's hard to take more off. I am (TMI warning) a sweaty person...I sweat when it's January and I'm sitting still...summer makes me extremely unhappy. I love autumn and spring, and winter I enjoy, summer I'm always just waiting for it to be over.

    2. I last bought a magazine last month - I think Rachael Ray. I always peruse them at the grocery store though thinking I'll treat myself but none of them look that great. (I love certain magazines - hate others).

    3. Oooh - dark or milk chocolate...definitely depends on the day. I love both dearly.

    4. Ick - shorts (green khaki), black tee, black crocs. (Shorts are another reason to hate summer.)

    5. I pretty generally don't enjoy cities. Too many people and they smell funny (the city not the people). We usually "go into the city" a few times a year (Boston) - and I like it best in the perfect weather (autumn). I hate NYC - way too bustly for me.
Oooh - I really like Portland, Maine though. It's my type of city. Not big - artsy - waterfront. Granted, I haven't seen a lot of cities in my life. I try to stay away from them. My favorite could just be waiting to be discovered.

    6. I would love to buy a Prius (or another hybrid, I'm not picky) to get me from here to there. That's ideal I think. (Right now I can't even think about walking from here to there - too frickin humid. And I think the sight of my big toosh on a bicycle is a little too frightening. A little Vespa or to run errands around town would be fun - but same deal with big lady on a small scooter - scary.)

    7. My sister. I would love for her to come down and hang out for a couple days. Just me & her. Or we could go on a mini-vaca together - to somewhere great like Vermont. To eat cheese & ice cream & swim in a lake (I love lakes).

  4. I don't like summertime either! :) too hot, too humid, plus I don't like the lack of clothing, hehe!

  5. Yep. I'm still checking your blog. Albeit 3 weeks after you post!!!
